Boring
I'm surprised at all the good reviews! I found the first 20 pages or so pretty exciting, but must of the book was a rather boring and improbable romance. Were we really supposed to believe that a girl comes riding into someone's farm in the pouring rain( of course it was pouring rain) and some guy takes her in and wants her to take care of his grandmother. He doesn't know her, she is secretive about why she is riding out in the rain, but sure I trust you with my grandmother! And we're supposed to believe that after seeing her father murdered and running for her life that this women is supposed to just feel comfortable moving in with some random guy and the next day is happily baking cookies for grandma? Rather dumb and no exitement until the final 30 pages or so. just boring, predictable romance.

Technically Prepare
With the murder of her father and co-worker, it was amazing to follow Charlotte as she ran from men who were trying to kill her. She had no idea why her father was killed, nor why they wanted to kill. Charlotte was quite ingenious as she leaves everything behind, literally everything. The lessons that her father taught that prepared her to live in a technical world and not get caught. She knew what she had to do. Then to fall into an incredible circumstance that allowed her to feel a minimal sense of safety, all the while being cautious to not get too close to those around her. But, being close she does fall in love. Through all her adventures she eventually learns to trust the one she loves to help get her out of a tough situation and into the life she dreamed of.I really enjoyed this book. There were so many twists and turns that I couldn't put it down. Tracy, as usual, did an incredible joy with this one. I would recommend it to anyone who likes good, clean adventure.

Great writing, thrilling story
Traci Hunter Abramson is an amazing storyteller. Where other authors come off hokey, Traci is believable. Her books are among my favorites, between her pageturning storyline that flows and her rich characters she offers amazing fiction that it a pleasure to read and re-read.

Loved this book!
I loved this book. I love that it has so much romance, as well as action. It kept my attention the whole time. I was also able to put it down for a bit and pick it up and not have to reread the chapter to remember what was happening because I could keep the story in my head.

... read a book of this author's that I didn't like. Usually they hold me spellbound
So far I have never read a book of this author's that I didn't like. Usually they hold me spellbound. I have read this book and really like it. Sometimes I order a book and then keep it for a while to read later as a reward for me when I've done something I'm happy about.

Writing not as good as other Abramson books
I think I've read all of Abramson's books that are currently available on Kindle, and I anxiously await her new releases. I've really enjoyed her Saint Squad, CJ triology, Royal series, and many of her stand-alone books, but the writing in this book didn't seem at the same level as her other books. The storyline was interesting, and the main character was very likable with her strength, smarts, and kindness. The content was clean, with no cursing or sexual innuendos. If the writing had been stronger and flowed better, I would happily give this book 4 or 5 stars. Alas, for the price paid for the book, I was disappointed.

A Great Spy Novel
Ms. Abramson begins her book with action that carries on through the book. Her characters are well-developed and locations easy to imagine. I get so engrossed in the book that it is hard to put down. Everything becomes so real to me. Such a good author. I love all her books!!!
