This phone can either be mounted on the wall or desk, with a convenient space to roll up excess wiring under base. It does not come with any screws or anchors to mount to the wall.I wanted to use an extra long rj11 phone cable but the cable is fixed into the phone not allowing you to unplug or replace with a different length one which is a terrible design.The CID screen lights up. You can also change the contrast of the letters to lighter or darker.The number keypad does light up as wellThere is also a Red led that lights up when ringing on top of speaker grill.The grill in the front is a speaker but only used to announce number keys pressed, if option is turned on and for the ringer, it is NOT a speaker to be able to speak to someone with.There is a boost volume option to make sure u can hear someone and a high frequency tone option that amplifies high frequency tones to assure they are heard.The phone itself takes 4 AA batteries for the caller ID to work, not needed to have dialtone.Phone has memory options to store numbers and call right from screen or by pushing memory button on phone handle.There are also two ringer options, one seems higher piched than the other.I was looking for a slim line phone with caller ID and a load ringer, I just also wish the speaker could of been used as a 2 way speaker to have a conversation with and I wish the telephone cable wasn’t fixed into the phone so you would be able to swap out with different length ones.

I wanted a "princess"-type phone for my bathroom that had caller id. After extensive searching, I found only two options, and selected this one. As a phone, it works fine. It is amplified, which is helpful sometimes. The screen for the Caller ID does light up when a call comes in, but it is still so dim that it is very difficult to read unless you look straight at it from a few feet away. It seems that landline phones are a dying market, and few are making the effort to produce a good product. That is too bad because I would have paid more for a phone of good quality that had easy to read Caller ID. This phone is not that great over all, but it is still probably the best available in this format with a lighted (kind of) Caller ID.

Phone as advertised. However, somehow unexpectedly the voice "feature" turns on unexpectedly that repeats the numbers being dialed as you dial them when you have turned this feature off, plus the cord that runs from the wall jack to the phone is not unitized with a standard removable jack on the phone end of it. -So if the cord from the phone to the wall jack breaks or gets a bad connection inside it, or the plastic jack at the wall-jack end of the cord breaks that plugs into the wall, neither the jack-plug or the cord are replaceable like on most phones. This means the phone will have to be thrown out when the original cord or the jack on the end that goes to the wall breaks or wear out. -Not good for longevity. I suggest buying a phone with a replaceable cord from the wall to the phone

The ringer is way too loud. It has only 2 settings and they are both too loud. Turned it off. I have other phones so when i hear them ring I'll answer whichever phone is convenient. The caller id screen is lit when the receiver is raised, so you can see the time, date and the caller id. The keypad numbers are a little difficult to see, clear numbers on white, but the keypad does light up...that helps.

Great phone multiple functions. Call waiting Caller ID, Backlight LCD Display, 13 Number Memory, Flash, Redial, Enhanced Visual Ring Indicator, Design for Sight Hearing Loss - up to 25 db, Audible Dialing for hearing the numbers as you Dial. This is perfect for a the power outage and still make emergency calls. (Land line service). The volume is loud on low setting but the Ring Indicator will help with that. For the price you can't go wrong.

Functionally, the phone works fine. There are two irritating features. 1). The touch keypad is clear on white which is a bit difficult to read, but it is also backlit which makes it almost impossible to read. You can't see the numbers and you really have to depend on knowledge of key positioning to dial. 2). The keypad has an audio feature which tells you which button you have pressed, but it is delayed which is confusing. If you dial at a reasonable speed, the speech is delayed and you will be pressing one button while the phone is speaking a different number. I don't know if there is a way to turn this sound off. Additionally, the headset cord is a bit short, but it is modular so you can replace it with a longer one..

This phone functions well for a household that wants to maintain a landline .

Caller ID is easy to read and phone has many features. Great product at great price! definitely recommend

This is a good solid looking corded phone. The digital display is not quite as clear as the picture suggests, but it is still better than an unlit display.

Easy to read number display. Works well on bedside table as not too large.
