Q: The tilt makes this for right-handers only ... no version for southpaws?

I thought all southpaws were in league with the devil and could create fire with out lighters. :) No seriously, I wouldn't know.

Q: How long will a full charge last if not used at all? (Need it for a camping/bug out bag)

I keep a power brick in my bug out bag so all I need to do is unplug and go. It doesn't take long to charge the Insert so IF it was to be low on power you would be up and burning in no time at all. I've had my insert for a few weeks and haven't had to recharge it yet. Seems to hold a charge and have some great staying power. That said I have waterproof matches in my bag as a back-up plan

Q: To light a candle, does the wick need to contact the arc?
