You will want to incorporate knurled nuts into your design if you need some extra strength fastening pieces together.Before this I would use my standard soldering iron tip. That worked ok but was awkward especially when trying to back out the tip after the nut was in place because often the nut would stick to the tip and pull out. No more! With this specialty tip inserting a nut is a breeze. Very easy now!Be careful when ordering. Make sure to verify that the tip you pick matches your brand and model of soldering iron. The manufacturer offers a selection of tip types.
