Just what I was looking for to make Erdbeertorte for my German husband! I use to use Dr. Oetker's sponge cake but local stores stopped carrying them. The recipe I use makes too much for 1 pan so I bought a second one and now I make one cake base for now and one for later. A side bonus is the cakes are smaller so they work better for household of two. Cake comes out of the pan easily and looking so professional! The weight makes me think they will last a long time.

Well constructed thick non stick steel. The only objection I have is that the indentation could have been 1/4 inch deeper to hold more filling, and the outside ridge a little thicker to prevent breakage when removing the tart from pan. The price may be a tad high, in my opinion.

It's too high for tarts!!! Even though it includes "tart cake pan" in the title, this is for PIES not tarts!!! Be aware what you are making before placing the order~~

I love this pan. It makes the most beautiful cakes with a lovely topping--you would think you were a pro. What I also love is that it's meant to be a single level cake--so it's less filling per slice. The pan is well made and although non-stick, I do still coat it with spray to ensure an easy removal. The indented top allows you to put different toppings-such as ganache, lemon curd or whip cream without it spilling over the sides.

This does a greay job, cake bakes evenly etc. The well in the center is not terribly deep, but works fine for holding whipped cream, chopped fruit etc. Be very careful to grease and flour the pan. I've had 2 times where I did it quickly and paid for it with part of my cake breaking off but both times i knew I wasn't doing the best job. This pan requires you to do better, but when it comes out right, its so worth it.

This is a nice pan; desserts don't stick and comes out easily after turning pan upside down. I only wish it was a two-piece (removable bottom), otherwise happy with purchase.

I ordered two of these and liked them so much, I am ordering another one. Now my daughter is also ordering two for other members of our family. You can do everything with this cake. You can make it beautiful with the fruit, glaze and whipped cream. Also you can make all kinds of different flavors for childrens parties and birthdays. Good job Norpro!!!

Quality non stick pans. This pan makes it so easy to pull together an impressive dessert with little effort . I purchased my pans after a friend brought hers on vacation to whip up easy impressive desserts.
