I love these things. Tastes salty and a little nuttty. Great protein

Unlike the 1 star racist reviewer, I do actually eat and love this product. it is extremely low in fat and has a pretty good protein to carb ratio unlike all other snacks we crave. I like both the salted and the garlic and onions flavored versions. I just wish it was a little less expensive and came in larger packaging.I may understand some of this jerks concerns about food products from china, but how about a real review from someone who actually eats the product like I do. In my industry we are also getting many products from china. There are in fact three distinctly different sources of chinese goods. 1. chinese companies that oem for US companies. Like this one, I think. The US company does have some control and say over the products manufacturing and will absolutely be concerned about their own liability so most likely have controls in place if not actual FDA occasional testing and scrutiny. 2.US or European companies that in fact wholly or partially own and/or manage Chinese based factories. They are completely responsible for the quality control of the products leaving that facility. 3. Wholly owned Chinese companies who sell direct to the US market.Chinese recent history of tainted foods, is documented, but If i remember correctly the executives who were found responsible in the baby food scandal, were actually tried and 2 were executed, one execution was computed, and three others are serving life sentences in a chinese prison. That is a very stiff sentence that the US would never consider, and I am sure it is a huge deterrent to other chinese executives doing the same thing now and in the future. Thier international commerce is in its infancy. They as a country has taken a very firm stand to make sure this sort of thing is not likely to happen again.Using that reviewers logic he will never get a loan from an american bank for a home, because they are crooks and should have been put in jail for the 2008 home loan swindle. Yet, I'll bet he would not let that slow him down.

Another product from China disguised as something made in America. Much to my surprise on the back of the package of Enlightened Roasted Broad Beans is "PRODUCT OF CHINA." I would not recommend because I don't trust food stuff from China. It is sad to think that we cannot find a way to make a snack here in the USA.
