A: There are two black elastic straps on the back of the shield that your arm slides through.

**Q: is this what the child can hold their had like a real sheild ?**
A: Yes it's a child's shield that has a strap to hold onto it on the back. If you need photos please let me know.

A: Just little hand straps. Not long enough to wear on the back.

Good product. It's small but an accurate size for a little kid to pretend to be Captain America. It feels sturdy and has two little straps on the back the right size for my six year old to hold. Maybe a tad pricey but to me it's good enough quality that I'm happy with the purchase.
