Have only had this for a few months and have not tried to wash it yet. So far it has held up well, vacuums clean easily, and for a dog that we were told did not like dog beds, he loves this one. I should have gone with a lighter color to help hide some of the dog hair being seen as easily, but that is minor - I like the Navy color.
