FlytaniumTenacious Scales Brass

These scales fit perfectly on my Tenacious S35VN Lightweight.Now it weighs 7 oz, has a nice heft in hand, and is like a piece of fine jewelry in my pocket.Awesome!!

Super heavy duty milled brass, high quality product that fits the knife absolutely perfectly. Such beautiful scales, cannot wait for them to start to patina and add some character to my knife. For 35 bucks, this turned my tenacious into a whole new knife. Flytanium rocks!P.S. They are not terribly hard to install if you've taken apart knives before, just make sure you keep track of the stand-offs and the brass washers. I recommend using a magnetic tray to keep all the screws and spacers organized during the process.

Great quality scales that look nice and feel nice. Now, it’s solid brass, it’s fkin heavy, duh. They patina quickly. More you carry faster it happens. Carried mine for a month straight and there’s a solid outline of the pocket clip where the rest of the scales are much darker. Kinda weird, kinda cool.

Great scales from flytanium. Turns a good knife into a great knife. My tenacious looks and feels ten times better. Fit and finish is great and installation was easy. 10/10

I was very hesitant on purchasing these scales for a knife that I bought for less than the price of the scales, however I was not disappointed. It took this $40 knife and made it elegant. In my opinion this is like wearing a Bulova, Seiko, or a mid to higher range watch vrs a Casio, or a work watch just to get the time. The original polished stainless hardware / blade with the brushed titanium scales it my favorite knife now in my collection. There is a little bit you have to do to make the frame work with the rigidity of titanium made for plastic. 1st you need at least 2 more washers for the blade. The titanium has been ground completely flat on both sides, no issue except the frame has a need for the tension on both side of the pin from the outside to set the drag on the washers for blade play. You are not going to get the screw to tension down on that titanium. At least for me 2 aditional washers against the locking side of the frame brought the wobble and resting point back to original specs (plus makes the action very smooth). I carry a Cold Steel Recon1 for work but when I'm off shift, the Titanium Tenacious goes with me. BTW, the scales do scratch pretty easily, a scotch bright & silver polish gets the blemishes out easily.

Purchased the copper scales for the tenacious, tried every trick in the book to get my blade centered. It was centered and had perfect action with the oem scales. do not recommend.

Yes it’s nice quality titanium. The reason I gave 2 stars is due to the fact of it not being a easy swap. Yes swapping out scales is easy, what’s not easy is when you have to modify a product you just paid 55 dollars for. The washers that shim the blade and make it smooth from the factory are not enough for these scales To keep the blade center and smooth. That means you have to either buy more washers or deal with an unsmooth and offcenter knife blade. The company should provide these extra washers or provide a thicker washer. Even if they had to charge 1 dollar more it would be worth it so your knife still feels and functions as well as it does from the factory. Update: I contacted flytanium and they are sending me washers. Great customer service, fast responses and they did not hesitate to explain why the product has issues with some tenacious models.
