These lids are absolutely wonderful! They may seem slightly expensive but are well worth it. They last way longer than any metal lids you could possibly buy. Also being food grade they are safe when they come in contact with food and they never rust obviously. They provide an airtight and spillproof seal and are so easy to wash. I have them in the widemouth as well for my large jars and I just can't say enough about them. The quality is so great you won't ever have to buy any other lids again. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

These work exactly as I had hoped. They are a little bigger than my pint jars, so the spongy silicone (the citrus part) cushions the impact when my jar falls over. The seal is tight. I usually add a mixer ball to my pint jar and shake it quite vigorously, but have never had a leak. The inside piece is loose which makes cleaning both easier and harder -- you have to know to take it apart for cleaning (and not lose it!). I haven't tried the dry-erase feature of the white part. After all, I can see what's inside the jar.This is kind of pricey for what it is. But it works so well that I didn't take off for that.

Excellent product and leak proof, which is what i was looking for. Not giving it a 5 star rating because of the price. Although i like these i feel they are really over priced.

Excellent product from a company with amazing customer service. Universal lids make our family more likely to use our mish mash collection of glass jars. Silicone gasket provides extra leak protection and keeps food from touching plastic.I accidentally left some silicone gaskets on soiled jars long enough to grow significant mold. As can happen with silicone, they are now stained in an unsavory way. **Tip** Wash gaskets before this happens if this might bother you too!Would love to be able to purchase replacement gaskets independent of lids. Alternative color ways would also be nice.

What is the most basic thing that a lid needs to do? That's right, close and reopen.These form an airtight seal and are made of high quality, sturdy silicone. However, it's extremely difficult to thread the lid properly so that it reaches that airtight state (and not leak liquid). Super annoying. Try iLIDS if you like paying a lot of money for lids, or save money and put your stuff in a zip lock baggy or larger airtight container.

They will not leak if screwed on tight! I used them 5 days a week for about 4 months for holding juice to take to work in a bag. However, one day while washing one, I noticed a crack on the interior of the lid. I could clearly see my carrot juice (orange) was stuck in the crack after being cleaned in a dishwasher. The crack ran around the entire interior. I cleaned it out by hand, but the crack grew deeper over time. Eventually, I had to throw them all out. I would guess the lids will always crack if you screw them on tightly, but if you don't screw them tightly they will leak. I tried putting the plug into a cheap regular white mason jar plastic lid, but of course it doesn't work. These lids are slightly larger.

These are pricey, but I do love them! They aren't cheap plastic like most other mason jar lids, they are a real high-quality product. Totally leak-proof and very easy to keep clean. I use them to shake up my protein drinks and never a leak. They are attractive and I really enjoy using nice things that are made to last.

These lids are great. They are easy to clean, fit my jars perfectly, and are completely leak proof. I bought them to use on jars that I care liquids in to and from work so a set of three was perfect for me - worth the cost!
