I bought these to color in ADULT coloring books. Love the assortment of colors. Pencil points do not break even with the hardest pressure applied. Only thing I don't like is colors come out lighter than I expected even with the firmest pressure.

These Watercolor Pencils are a perfect addition to my art supplies. Its a complete set of 36 Pencils, I had never owned Watercolor Pencils so I had no idea the whole concept of them. Was surprised how easy the colors come to life with a little water and brush. They come in a tin case which is perfect for travel to protect them from any damage. I am always going over to my nephews and nieces and believe me this is perfect for multiple people using it at the same time, no more fighting for the same color.They are quite comfortable and sturdy, and sharpen well. Perfect for coloring in intricate designs as they sharpen to a sharp point. On the last picture I brushed a little water in and you can see it mix so smoothly. After reading the reviews on these watercolor pencils, I expected a good product for my art classes to use. The one star rating is for the metal case only! The pencils themselves were very disappointing. One pencil was even solid wood...with no core! The other pencils had very weak colors. I immediately shipped them back. I will stay with brands I know and trust from now on, like Prismacolor!

This Bayam 36 water colored pencils are pretty awesome! There is a good amount of different colors to chose from and the best part is the are watercolor. I seriously love the tin case they come it, and how high quality they look. When first using the pencils they seem like pretty good quality, and like other watercolor pencils i have used before. Since I think watercolor pencils come off lighter when they are transferred onto the paper. You will have to go over the color another time to build the color up if you want a more brighter color. Honestly I like how they transfer onto the paper even if they color doesn't come off super vibrant unless you are using presser. Although one pencil, while i was coloring with it, the tip sort of broke off in a section. Which I don't see as a huge deal since I can just sharpen them. I did of course, after coloring in my picture use a paint brush and painted water over the colors and it looks amazing! The water actually makes the colors look more vibrant, and blends in colors if using more then one color in a section. Overall I totally like this set of colored pencils, they are pretty good quality and lay down nicely.-I did receive this product for a discounted price in return for my honest and unbiased opinion.
