Photoshop CS3 All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies

I am familiar with Photoshop, considering myself a novice, so that's why I bought this book, hoping it would help teach me some step-by-step intermediate and advanced applications of PS. Not so, this book is definitely for those who have a much broader understanding of PS. I do not recommend for anyone like myself who is a beginner. This book will not teach you. I have found that Youtube is great for step by step instructions on how to do many applications of PS, so that's where I'm turning for help until I know exactly what I want to do in PS, then hopefully this book will be a good "reference" when I need additional help or ideas..

I bought this book to learn Photoshop for my Photography business. Photoshop is a complicated program if your just getting in to it. I love it and was one of the best purchases I made for my business!! If you want to learn and under stand what you are doing this is the book for you!!

I got this book for my Wife, a copywritten photographer when she went from SLRs to Digital and said that Photo-Shop is great for anyone who wants to embelish their photos but would detract from the Natural photographer's creatrive eye.

I have already read several chapters. This will be a great reference tool for my camera. Look forward to improving my skills.

This book provides more minute detail than I've seen in a Photoshop book at the price level of this one. I'm looking forward to moving throughout all the well documented chapters in expanding my Photoshop capabilities.
