Elongated Seat 3 in One Bedside Commode, Made in USA [Health and Beauty]

I am a quad due to MS. I am very happy with this commode, in fact I have two of them. I find the seat to be very comfortable. It is wide enough and long enough to accommodate my backside. The adjustable height is good, the non-skid leg tips are good, the arms are a good height. It is very sturdy and I feel secure while sitting on it. I do not have a problem with back support. There is a strap of wide canvas upon which the open lid rests. We always put the commode bowl in the opening with the larger end in the front and find it easier for my husband's big hands to wipe me. My helpers have no problem transferring on to this commode. I highly recommend this commode!

I searched and searched for an elongated bed side commode. It is heavy and strong. It is fine for someone who can get on the toilet by themselves but is horrible for someone who uses a sliding board or has problems standing. The arms are high which can help someone push "off" to stand up but the are very high for someone to clear when they have problems standing. It you place the "container" that the urine goes into in the correct position the unine will often shoot out if there is any strength to the persons urine flow. There is no back to the commode which makes it unsafe for those who need a backrest while sitting on the commode. I feel for my husband it was a total waste of money.
