I knew there wouldn't be much on the spool, it seems to be the same weight of the small spools of cotton I get at Joanns. I haven't done the burn test to see if the thread burns or melts like another reviewer mentioned, but I'm really hoping this is 100% cotton. I wanted to mention that the inside of the spool is not like regular spools of thread, it's hollow on the inside of the spool. The photo shows something in the middle of the spool, which may or may not make a difference while using. See photo of inside of spool, one is of their stock photo, the other is the one that i received. I've never used a spool like this, hopefully I won't have a problem using them if I decide to keep them.

I was expecting this thread to come on plastic or wooden spools - like the thread that comes from Gutermann. These come on plastic tubes. I was taken aback at first, but it worked perfectly in my sewing machine and the thread held up nicely. Oh, and the packaging is completely in a foreign language. No English on it whatsoever! :) No worries though.

Great colors, a bit fuzzier than I hoped, one of the spools had weak thread that broke frequently. I have emptied four spools onto one project. (The quilt in the picture is quilted with it, at half inch intervals. With all those colors, the dense quilting completely disappears!)

I was very happy with this thread package. I do a lot of applique and it really came in handy for that. The only issue I had was getting the end of the thread out to start each spool since they tuck it under the other thread on the spool. I would buy this again.

The presentation was really great. But, the box easily slips out so the box wouldn't really last long and I need to place it somewhere else. But, it's useful.

It is strong and it can be used for stitching as well as embroidery I tried both best product

I bought assuming it's cotton as mentioned but it's polyester

The image of thread colours and packaging is for reference only...what I recieved is similar to dark n unwanted colours and half reels..thread is easily breakable.

The colors I received are darker shades and are not as shown in the picture.
