This was the worst purchase I have made in years.
This thing took a month to arrive. What you don't see in the product photo is that there are chips in the wood around each edge from sawing either from pushing it through too fast or possible a bad blade. Also, when closed, none of the segments align with the others and the lid isn't even round! This was the worst purchase I have made in years.

Good
Arrived as scheduled. Very pretty, and comes with a small spice scoop that is stored in the bottom container for shipping. Only complaint is that the small magnets that hold the tiers closed are quite weak and not useful for closure/alignment. But the wood is beautiful and it will be perfect for spice storage.

I do really like having salt
I think the pins that allow the piece to swivel could be more deeply inset. I do really like having salt, pepper and cayenne right at hand. It looks good and makes me almost believe that I can cook.

Nice wood, but a little unstable
The wood is very pretty. I use it for small jewelry. The problem I have with it is, the base is not heavy enough to keep the whole thing from tipping over when one of the top tiers is pulled out. Each tier is filled with very light items so it's just a bad design.

work great, I have 4 or 5 different salts that I use for cooking this allows me to have the on hand with out digging in a cabinet. Just be careful and pick it up from the bottom. I you pick it up form the middle or the top the chambers will swing open and you might spill or drop your spices.
