Tube booster overdrive. Can be used in a lot of gears , e.g., push a Big Muff distortion or color the sound before an amplifier. You can get a nice warm sound from 12AX7 or ECC83 tube when adjusting the drive knob. You can even use 12AU7 or 12AT7 tube and adjust the tube bias.
