We got this for our daughter's room as a gift since she asked for a book shelf. They are sturdy and she loves the theater theme (since we love to go to plays together).

The Opera Mask Bookends by Bay Area Housewares are the perfect compliment for any bookshelf. I read all of my books on my Kindle now but my family has recently gotten into the coloring book trend. We store them on a bookshelf and needed another set of bookends. These fit in with our decor perfectly. They are well made. The metal is strong and sturdy yet they are still lightweight. There are felt pieces on the bottom to keep them from scratching your shelves. They really do the job and look great doing it. The white sets off nicely against my black bookcase also. These bookends were provided to me for evaluation at a promotional rate and without any further obligation. I ordered the bookends and they were delivered in three days. The packaging was perfect and there was no shiffting or damage. The bookends are made of metal and have a thick white matte finish. The quality is great and my 10yr old accidentally knocked one down onto our kitchen floor. I was fully expecting to have to do some type of repair (bending, painting, etc.) But imagine my surprise when it was in perfect shape! My 10yr old remarked "finally something I can't break..". We laughed and both agreed we would have to purchase more things from Bay Area Housewares. Thanks for your great product and will definately be ordering more from you guys! So I'm a book lover, and as such, I have tons of books. My bookshelves are filled. They're more than filled, they're overflowing. I'm putting books on top of bookshelves, into boxes, anywhere I can contain them. You know what contains books? Bookends. These are fun, well-designed bookends, made of weighty metal, with a nice padding underneath. I have no issues whatsoever with them, they are exactly what I was expecting, and they serve their job admirably. Great bookends. I was previously using small statue like chess pieces to hold my books up and they kept sliding down eventually. These are nice and sturdy, with small black stoppers on the bottom to help avoid slipping. I've always been a fan of the comedy and tragedy faces so these are nice to look at. I received this product for a discount for my honest unbiased review.

I purchased these on snagshout for my daughter and she really liked them. They hold the books upright just as they should .
