Perfect! They fit in my backpack and my larger purse. Store food so well, I'm surprised at how well the food stays in the containers. There is no spillage between the compartments. I've stored small amounts of dressing in the smaller compartments and my salad in the bigger compartment, I've had the container bounce around in my backpack, flipped upside down - you name it, there's no spillage into other compartments at all!

I got these last year and finally started using them. The lids will break if you try closing it by half effort closing it from the middle. You have to push down on the sides only. Would be nice if The Meal Lab would sell just lids if they don't already in case this happens. Otherwise great product and would/have recommended and would purchase again. I don't like reheating food or freezing it to pull and and thaw for lunch so I can't say much on how that works and I hand wash everything so I don't know how they hold up but I would doubt if works for all based of the feel of the plastic.

Fantastic product. Goes from the original storing of food to the freezer, to the microwave to the dishwasher with no issues. The only thing I have found is when they are in the freezer, make sure you stack them using the shapes as they get really slippery, lol. This may go away the more I use them and wash them. I opened the freezer and out one of them came, lol. wonderful for cooking a lot in one day, portioning the food out, and putting them in the freezer. Makes times when you don't have time to cook a breeze to put or get a healthy meal on the table. Will be purchasing more when needed.

We bought these way back in 2017, and we're still using them!! I think one broke out of the group, otherwise still work fantastic!Husband and I use for Sunday Meal Prep. We place our lettuce in the largest compartment, toppings in one of the small, and protein/meats in the other. We keep dressing in a separate small container. The lettuce stays fresh all week. If there is anything with liquid, it does leak a bit, or at least ours do maybe because of how "old" they are, but it's minimal.HIGHLY recommend. These are great quality!

I live alone, but am an avid cook. It is difficult to cooks meals from scratch in small quantities, so when I cook a meal (usually a main dish and two sides), I immediately fix my plate for the current meal and I fill the "Meal Prep Containers" with the rest. The compartments are the perfect size for someone conscientious about eating reasonable portions. I would guess that the two smaller compartments hold approximately a cup if filled to the max, and the large compartment twice that. I usually get from four to six plates and put one in the frig and freeze the rest. The next day I eat the one in the frig and place one from the freezer in the frig for the following day, and so on. If I eat out and have leftovers, I bring them home and do the same. The containers perform as advertised, are sturdy and can be machined washed, microwaved, etc. The stack neatly in the freezer/frig. By using these, I no longer have food go bad before I can eat it, which is a money saver. I would highly recommend these to anyone who periodically has to throw away leftovers, or for those that want to regulate their portion intake so they can maintain and/or lose weight. I've been using these now for more than a month or two and they still perform as they did when first used.

These are hands down, the best plastic meal containers I’ve ever ordered! They seal very well, in between compartments as well as the outside edges. I usually don’t wash my TV dinner trays in the dishwasher, b/c it really doesn’t clean them well enough anyway. But, these are super easy to clean, so it’s no more bother than the pre-rinse I would’ve done. I make meals for my husband to take to work, and sometimes they stay in the freezer for about a month, before he gets around to taking them b/c I make several different types of meals at one time. They have held up beautifully so far. I’ve bought 2 or 3 other brands before, that leaked and the lids or some times even the trays cracked within a couple of uses. I’ll be buying meal lab again!

I bought these as there were 10 of them and I needed something for new diet changes. Overall they are a good product and I still have 8 of them. The first 2 I used I cracked the lids as I put them in my lunch bag with an energy drink on top. My bag doesn't move a lot in my desk so I have to assume it was the weight. Since I put the drink under the meal prep food it hasn't happened again. I have hand washed them since there isn't anything to say they are dishwasher safe. Based on my experience I would say they aren't.

I bought a package of 10 six months ago so that I could put together five weekday lunches on Sundays. I assumed that I'd use them for a few weeks and then need to replace them. I was wrong!! Six months later, I'm still using four of the original five that I packed my first lunches in, and this is after regularly washing them in the dishwasher. They're just the right size for my lunches; they keep foods completely separate from one another; they close tight, and while I don't know that they'll last forever, they certainly are very durable. Perfect!
