White to neutral power line. Line coming from your power line, Cord to the compressor's control switch. Black to power line. Note: green normally ground. Black and white cables may also be connected in any port. I mean if the black connected where the white should. It should still work normally but it's always recommended following right instructions. Green is most of the times ground which means it should be always connected to ground on metal chassis in this case on the compressor and freezer always or other machines to the metal chassis of the item. This information is for orientation and information on purposes only May not be applied to every single installation it's always the best to follow Factory instructions procedure. Normally in power supplies with three cables on your power cord one of the pins will be in green which is ground the other two pins should be positive one of them white and the other is black. No more worries! ### ⭐⭐⭐ The threads are not tapered like normal pipe thread. *by C***K on April 21, 2023* You’ll need a bunch of tape and or thread compound because the threads have no taper. When you thread the solenoid into the strainer piece, it doesn’t get tight until it bottoms out. You’ll need to use a bunch of thread seal to make it work and not spin loose and leak.
