Barrier Animal Healthcare Red Mite Powder, 500 g [Misc.]

This item arrived very quickly, even though it came from the UK. It seems to have worked well with my chickens, and I appreciate that it is organic. I could not find a similar organic product in the US

This stuff is great, much easier to use in their dust bath then putting it on them. Mites gone.

Bought to dust our beloved pet pekin chickens, some of whom were found to have Northern Foul Mites. Seems to be doing the job. Has tea tree oil and a really nice peppermint smell and hopefully will help repell insects etc. These N.F mites and also the red mites are carried and transferred by wild birds in the garden. We have resident blackbirds that wait every day for us to open the doors/hatches. They then fly into the runs to get at the food bowls.

This is good stuff, I had chickens with a major red mite problem and between this and a new coop it sorted them out. Now just use for weekly maintenance. Will buy again!

It did what it said on the tin. Used along side Diaguard, the mites went within a week, now mix this with the Diaguard in the dust baths and outside door edges so that the ladies use it as a footbath on the way to the roost bars

Brilliant for my chickens, use it every time I changed their bedding and use it to dust them once or twice a month. We have never had mites and I think think this is why. A must have for chicken owners excellent product and smells quite nice

Seems to be effective, though I have needed to use a lot. (The chickens have more or less slept in a powder nest for a few weeks). No overnight miracle, but better than the liquid I tried first. To boost the clearance I also steam cleaned the nesting boxes too.

Not only effective, but makes the hen house smell lemony!

Have been buying this powder for my chickens who are now 9 yrs old I sprinkle this on my chickens bedding when I have cleaned their coop out and they are very healthy and mite free.

Works very well - excellent for spreading over bedding as well as on perches etc. so that the hens' feathers etc are coated well.
