This is a superior product
I use it on my bench dog holes on my bench to plane - just as it was intended and it is wonderful. No need to worry about damaging plane blades because it is always lower than what I want to plane. Wish I had it years ago. It’s adjustability is another asset.

Very nice - Light and Strong
Your bench holes MUST be plumb. But, you can space the holes any distance apart , and it adjusts readily. I used to use a screw driven into the bench, but this is faster and holds you board securely. No more chasing it all over the bench.

The pegs don’t fit the holes in my bench the tool is useless to me
