High Quality to Price Ratio
Strong, powerful, quiet, well finished castings. Came in a robust, fitted plastic case with strong steel fasteners. Gives every indication of being a quality tool. Manual written in good English but not useful. No blade supplied. Cuts well, and easy to make square cuts on 1/4" steel. Not your your father's Harbor Freight tool. Forget the harsh You Tube review. Apparently he got some old stock, not current production. Don't hesitate to buy this saw.

Make sure to purchase blades at same time.
This saw cuts very well. The only thing I don't like is that it came with no saw blades and had to find a store that sold them.

Matches my brand name saws for a great price.
Cuts through my 2-1/2" angle iron and 3-1/2 " sch 40 steel pipe like butter. No loading and speed problems.

Only 90 day warranty
You cannot get replacement parts for this and only has 90 day warranty. The Harbor Freight store is always offering this saw for under $100.

Nothing to see here - buyer beware
Purchased one of these at Harbor Freight, got about 4 uses out of it before the motor shorted. (Burned wires and smoke!) Very frustrated, I've babied this thing. When it worked, it cut great with the stock blade... but it let me down hard today. Would not recommend, going to look at the other manufacturers now. NOTE: IF you do buy a porta-bandsaw... buy a SWAG Offroad table to go with it.
