## Overview

The Wright Products V2012WH Heavy Duty EZ-Hold Pneumatic Closer is a robust, aluminium pneumatic door closer designed for out-swinging medium to heavy storm, home, or security doors. Featuring adjustable closing speed and force, a patented EZ-HOLD tap-to-hold-open function, and a sleek finish, it offers durable, customizable door control with easy installation and a full 90-degree opening range.

## Description

The V1020 is Wright Products' most innovative heavy duty closer. To engage the "Tap-N-Go Feature" simply push the button prior to opening your door to desired location. To close the door, simple "tap" or push your door open slightly. The hold open feature will disengage. This closer can be mounted on all out swinging storm or screen doors, either as a single closer for light or medium weight doors or paired with another standard duty closer (one mounted at the top and the other at the bottom of your door) for heavier full view storm doors. This closer has a full 90 degree opening range, is factory lubricated and has an adjustable closing speed. It is available in white and black finishes.

## Features

- IMPROVE DOOR SAFETY: Wright Products heavy-duty pneumatic (air pressure) door closer is designed for out-swinging medium-to-heavy weight storm, home, or security doors. Each door closer measures 12-5/8” long (unextended) and 1-1/2” in diameter
- EZ-HOLD - EZ-HOLD technology allows you to hold open the door with a simple tap of a button. This heavy-duty-use door closer has a high level of durability to withstand repeated opening and closing throughout the day.
- ADJUSTABLE - Easily increase or decrease the closing speed and force with a screw at the end of the pneumatic tube. Fully lubricated spring stretches to allow the door to open a full 90 degrees before it pulls the door closed at a controlled pace.
- READY TO INSTALL: All installation hardware is included, no additional parts need to be ordered or added. Comes with seasonal latching adjustment option to switch between a glass or screen insert.
- CLEAN SUBTLE LOOK: Pneumatic tube and attachments come in a high-quality finish to blend in perfectly with the door and frame.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I just received this product and upon installing and testing it, it seems to have jammed fully extended with the door open. Any ideas on how to fix?**
A: Hello,
Hook the rod up to the jamb bracket and insert the pin. Make sure your hand is off the button and give the cylinder a quick pull. This will allow the rod will release back into the cylinder. The V2012WH will lock into an open position any time that the button is pressed. To get your door to release, you give your door a quick push further open. This gives the rod a small tug and then the rod will release back into the cylinder and your door will close.

**Q: I have a v2010 on a security door and would like to replace it with this v2012. Would I be able to use the same screw holes?**
A: The screw holes on the two closers would be slightly different. The V2010 has a 12-11/16" bracket spacing and the V2012 has a 12-3/4" bracket spacing.

**Q: How far out does the door open button protrude? I see that's an issue for some buyers as it doesn't fit between the doors.**
A: At a guess, the button protrudes about an inch. It is indeed a problem if you install between 2 closing doors. It is a great idea, but also the reason why I had to remove it from my screen door. I left it in place through summer months when internal door could remain open, but once it became colder, I couldn't close internal door with the screen closed. Also, the screen door must be a strong, heavier construction, as the more flimsy doors don't work so well. Sorry couldn't be of more help.

**Q: Jamb bracket on existing emco door was 1 7/8. the wright is 1 5/8. would prefer the holes to line up and not drill new ones. any suggestions?**
A: I believe the foot closer is adjustable
