A pretty little oak leaf necklace, with leaves in silver, copper and brass, completed by a fine silver trace chain with a silver ring bolt clasp. This necklace was inspired by the oak leaves to be found in the woods around La Petite Maison. It features five polished leaves, one in silver, two in copper, and two in brass. The mellow colours reflect the woods in autumn, but the necklace is perfect to wear all year round, and it would make a beautiful gift for anyone who loves nature and the outdoors. The oak tree is associated with strength, wisdom and loyalty, and with the zodiac signs Gemini and Cancer. The necklace is 46cm (18 inches) long. Copper and brass will oxidise over time when exposed to the air, and they will lose their shine and develop a natural patina. You will need to seal the brass and copper leaves, or clean them regularly, if you want to retain the shiny finish. This item is presented in a gift box.
