Organic Catnip Slug Family

It occurred to me that since our cats like batting around pens and lipstick tubes, they might be interested in a toy that is slim and long, like a snake. So I searched for that description, and found these. Buying them is one of the best decisions I've made while shopping on Amazon.These slugs are substantial and expertly crafted from the cutest fabrics that remind me of my childhood in the 1970s (I think it's calico, which is fun, sturdy and also apropos).And the pure simplicity of the design is adorable, too: They do give a whimsical impression of slugs. We feel happy about them as they are made from safe material with no real animal fur, and nothing superfluous, like sewn-on eyes or internal squeaky mechanisms to swallow.Unlike "catnip toys" from commercial manufacturers that contain a few molecules of old, stale catnip buried deep inside and which cats don't even notice: THESE are chock full of quality catnip. The cats know there's delightful catnip inside of these slugs -- they rub their chins on them, kick them with the hind legs, lick them, bite them, toss and chase them, and sometimes even sleep holding them or with their little heads against them. The youngest, most excitable cat managed to bite one open, raining catnip everywhere, like a catnip pinata.I'm attaching photos of our cats, and the neighbor's cat, who stops by to play -- all entranced by slugs. This is my second time ordering these awesome slugs. Cats totally are obsessed with them and fall asleep with them in their arms. Love that they are MADE IN THE USA- love to support mom and pop artists. Thank you for helping my fur babies totally relax and chill. Awesome craftsmanship and definitely worth the price.

My cats love these and I still have one from years ago that my new cats still play with (I have never had to re-fill them even though they are re-fillable...the catnip used is super super potent!).

My cats love these slugs! The big ones are long enough that the kitties can play tug-o'-war with them ...at least until they succumb to catnip catatonia. The fact that they are refillable if the catnip loses its oomph is great.
