My Arctis 1 is a great cheap, wireless headset, but to my dismay the detachable microphone had failed. I thought I would need to get a new headset, but lo and behold Amazon sells replacement mic stems for it!It works fine. You just plug it in and it works. The quality of the sound seems about the same. The build quality seems slightly less than the original, though it's indistinguishable in operation. This comes with a foam windscreen which helps a ton with wind noise if you've got a fan running or something. I had to buy my own for the original mic that didn't come with one. For the price, this is fantastic and is a great buy if you're frugal and want to extend the life of your cheap headset.Note: If you have weird disconnecting issues with the Arctis 1 wireless headset on your PC, make sure the secret hidden switch on the back of the dongle is set to PC and not XBox, because I had horrible problems for like a whole year until that was set correctly. If that switch is set properly, it detects the dongle as a device and works exactly as expected.

My son thought he needed a whole new set of headphones when the mic broke off (his fault, he slapped them down too hard) After we figured out that we could pull off the mic and replace it we found this product. It arrived quickly and was simple to connect. Perfect fit. It works perfectly and was such an inexpensive solution to our issue. Great value for the money! It has lasted through his usual bad habit of tossing the headphones down after gaming. lol So I’m happy.

Very good replacement mic for a fraction of the price for the actual on brand mic. Fits into headphones easily and have had no issues with voice quality, as told by my buddies online. Appreciated the two spare foam covers.

The mic quality is pretty good, it’s durable and has good value. It fit in my headset perfectly, the pop filter increased comfortability, the metal cord wrap was also a nice addition

I lost the mic that came with my headset and this one was able to fit into the mic jack, I haven't had issues with others telling me their static like I've heard about which is a great plus.

This is great. My original mix was causing a lot of feedback and poor quality. This solved it immediately.
