A good wholesome movie! I have always been interested in Amelia so I loved watching it. If you aren’t interested probably not for you 🤣🤣 but such good movie for anyone to watch.

I am so happy that Hilary Swank wanted to be involved in this Biopic. Even though really important stories from our countries history that affected the whole world are not very popular these days, the film was made anyway. I say this because it was apparent that such a great film was in such limited release. I couldn't find it at any of my local theatres here in South Florida and was very disappointed. So, I had to be patient and wait for the DVD release. Actually, I was able to see it bydoing a pay per view for $6.00, and of course ordered it from Amazon right away. There are so many films made today with such mindless value. It was refreshing to see this beautifully told historical film. I will admit that I am a pilot and love aircraft and flying. However, the love story woven into Ameilia's story was wonderfully told. Richard Gere was the perfect choice for her paramour. Even though the soundtrack was very nice, I was disappointed that John Barry wasn't chosen to do it.So thanks to the investors, Hilary and Richard and the movie studio for making this important film possible. This movie seemed to be reasonably accurate for the "history as we know it". I enjoyed it.

Will watch it again and again!

Beautifully written, directed, portrayed and scored. Seeing what a full, courageous life she had, left me in awe. She was a true super hero, absolutely fearless. The film begins with her childhood, shows us all of her major flights, romances, struggles with crews, finances and in the end the failure of the ship Itasca's equipment. Amazing ride of a movie.

I wanted to own a copy I could watch when I wanted without paying every single time

Not a very good movie. The actors tried I guess. They were bearable.The movie itself was badly flawed.It did not move along smoothly. The old "Spirit of St. Louis " movie, of this type was far superior.It was biographical but it wasn't interesting. The costumes, color,lighting, was great.I couldn't help wondering how we won the air war in the Pacific with the technology shown in the movie.

Intereseante película sobre la vida de la aviadora, pionera de la aviación, Amelia Earhart (1897-1937), fallecida a los 39 años como consecuencia de un accidente de aviación en su intento de viaje aéreo alrededor del mundo. Fué la primera mujer que viajó en solitario de los Estados Unidos a Europa, pocos años después de que lo hiciera Charles Lindberg. Excelentemente rodada y con muy buenas tomas aéreas. Cabe destacar que la protagonista Hilary Swank alcanza un parecido físico excepcional con la Amelia original, y es quien lleva el peso de la película, mientras que el siempre eficaz Richard Gere, se conforma con actuar en segundo plano, como su marido George P. Putnam. Pasarán un buen rato con el visionado de esta película.

そんなヤングインディアナジョーンズのストーリーを考えて明るい映画にしてしまった。彼女の時代は何となく暗い。今あるアメリカがもっと明るくトイレの100wみたいにお城のように明るくなってもらいたいと感じた。手始めに女性一人でも安心して住める家賃100ドルのアパートを地の果てまで造り、アニメオタクの保護とかしてもらいたいし、マーベルヒーローを真剣にしようと考えている若者を支援して欲しいとか考えさせられた作品。人生はやはりヒーロー、ヒロインで居たいもの。莫大な資産を持つことが第一条件ではない、今はiPhone を有しそれを使いこなせば、存在するFacebookの友達には会える、おおよそかけ離れた未来を人類は生きている、そんな時代から観ても彼女らの冒険は楽しく応援したくなる。そんな映画だった。　おすすめ

schöner Film mit traurigem Ausgang. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass Richard Gere, seit er täglich viele Stunden meditiert und sich dem Buddhismus verschrieben hat, mehr oder weniger nur noch traurige Filmrollen annimmt, in denen es kein Happy End mehr gibt. Aber so ist nun mal auch das wahre Leben.......irgendwann ist alles Schöne einmal zu Ende und man kann nichts für immer festhalten und schon gar nicht mitnehmen!Wer buddhistisch denkt, wie auch Richard Gere, der ist sich darüber im Klaren und lebt entsprechend und das ist auch gut so. Sollen doch die Dummen so leben, als gäbe es nie ein Ende, als könne man seinen Reichtum und sein dickes Auto "mit hinüber" nehmen... :-) sollen sie ruhig so tun, als wäre Geld im Leben alles...Aber die Gier, wie sie heute bei vielen menschlichen Kreaturen "in" ist, macht nicht glücklich!Amelia ist ein sehr schöner Liebesfilm – ohne Happy End, aber trotzdem sehr sehr sehenswert! Mit einem genialen und sympathischen Schauspieler!Richard Gere ist für mich das als Schauspieler, was David Garrett für mich als Musiker ist...
