Great concept, possible refinement needed
The product is almost useless for our specific bathtub. We have a typical bathtub, but it seems the suction cups do not want stick to our bathtub. It could be the material of the tub, but either way it isn't working. For this reason we have to literally hold it at all times so our son won't slip and hurt himself. This is the original reason we bought the product to keep him from slipping on the bathtub ledge and hurting his face.If the suction cups worked this product would get 5 stars because I think it's exactly what we need. It protects my son, it's easy for our elbows when washing him, and it has pockets. I'm disappointed not in the product, but rather the fact I'm unable to use it for reasons listed above.

Multi purpose
I purchased this as a seat rest so that I can sit on the edge of the tub more comfortably while bathing my dogs. The padding is excellent, but it does tend to shift a little if I lean forward or to the side, so I would not recommend it as a seat for a child, an elderly person, or anyone with balance issues. But since it was not designed for this purpose, I cannot fault it for that. I just use it carefully, and it's perfectly adequate for my purposes. And since it has sufficient padding for a seat, I'm sure that it has more than enough for an elbow rest!

I got this because I saw pics of it being used on tubs with sliding doors and a railing. It works, but it toppled over the side on my first use and I slide off of it when leaning on it to wash my sons hair. I suppose it's not for leaning on, rather for the elbows, but until my son washes his hair on his own I need to lean on it. So be cautious when leaning on it.

This definitely saves my elbows and ribs while bathing our baby, however the suction cups are mediocre and not as strong as I had hoped they'd be. They tend to allow the pad to slide and the two on the inside of the tub often need re-sticking throughout our bath time. The loop to hang it is also dreadfully small and isn't worth the trouble to wrestle around a door handle; I just hang ours on a towel hook or the hand rail on the side of the tub.

TubTech Bath Elbow Rest
Because my mother is very frail (at 90 years old), my sister has been assisting her at bath time. I purchased this padded elbow rest for my sister who has to lean on the bathtub to bathe my mother. My sister loves this rest and was very pleased I found it on Amazon.com. Very highly recommended for caregivers!

Ok, but doesn't seem like there is better option out there..
I read all the reviews before buying and this was one of the best. This is the only one I've tried so I have nothing to compare it to, but it just seems 'ok' to me. Provides good padding for your elbows, but the suction cups do only a decent job of staying stuck to the side of the tub. There is absolutely no use for the pockets it has on either side. They are far too small to fit anything in.

Nice thick soft pad
Nice thick soft pad. I really like that it keeps my arm bones from grinding against the hard bathtub when I'm trying to wash a squirmy baby. It does get just as slippery as the bathtub when wet, though. I was expecting it to be less so. Not a big problem.

Great product.
Works well. We bought it because we have the sliding doors and needed the extra padding when we give our children a bath. It is well padded and you cannot feel the tracks that are underneath. It also stays in place and does not move.
