I have been through 4 pool covers with my summer waves pool. Each one I have purchased previously were all made of tarp like material, which would eventually dry rot and fall apart into the pool. I live in Florida and the sun here doesn’t give a shit about you, so have a thin pool cover sitting directly in the sun over my pool everyday it’s getting baked to death. I can gladly say this pool cover is made of a different material. It’s kind of a rubbery cloth. In the heat of the sun it becomes pliable and stretchy which is concerning for the future but, for now it’s holding up. The string isn’t too sturdy and without clasps to hold onto the pool legs, hard wind tore this off the pool. I took the clasps off my old cover and attached them to this one with zip ties. Hope this lasts through at least a year.

I'm a first time pool owner, so a lot of pool related stuff is new to me. I expected this pool cover to fit, but it was a struggle and a half. I own a basic 12ft metal frame pool, so this cover should have been a breeze to put on. It was not. It took 2 people over an HOUR just to get it around the pool. One person had to stand on one side, while the other person stood on the other side, holding the cover in place because if one of us moved, it slipped right off into the water. After we FINALLY got it to where it wasn't slipping off on its own, we tried to tighten the cord..........that was another hassle in itself because the piece that's supposed to hold the cords tight, is junk, and the cover slipped as soon as I pulled the cords. We ended up having to have one person hold the cover in place, on on side, while the other tried to tighten the cords. It took us about 2 hours, total, to get the cover on, get it to STAY on, and get the cords tightened. It's technically on the pool, but it DEFINITELY isn't going to last through the rest of the summer. Look elsewhere because this thing is NOT worth the $ or the hassle. 🙄

The cover was a little snug, I really had to pull hard and tight to get it to fully cover the pool but it managed and once on its taut and has good stability it doesn't sink. It's durable and hasn't torn. It keeps the top layer of the pool heated but not the whole pool. It's a little hard to take off when it rains and all the water is pooled in the bottom part section of the cover. Keeps out all the leaves though so it's good for now.

This was by no means the best pool cover. It does have wholes in it so bugs leaves and whatnot may still get into your pool as the holes on this pool cover are quite big.The cover it's self when in the hot air and sun does get hot but the pool will stay cool. Durability is okay like to said it already has holes and it's thin so it might rip overtime.

I waited a little over a month of use to review this item, just to give the best insight I can for everyone who was in the same situation of skepticism with so many options on pool covers! This is a good price for the product. I wasn’t sure about having drain holes in the center now I know how much help this is when putting on by myself I couldn’t have it any other way! Keeps ample amount of dirt and leaves out plus drains for easy removal and placements. This cover attracts the sun where you can feel the warmth coming off the cover. The thickness isn’t to heavy nor to thin! It’s perfect for our 12x30 steel bestway max. Same shape make take a few try’s to find your easiest way if you don’t have a second person but as a 5”3 130lb individual I now can take on and off within a minute or two. I used a clip to hold one end on and I pull the other side over. Voila perfecto!

The quality of the product is great. The sizing is off though. I have a 14' above ground frame pool I ordered the 14' cover sadly was to small. If you need a pool cover go 1 to 2 sizes larger than pool frame measurement.
