LiteXpress LXL91100BB Camp 51 Lantern in Blue with 200 lumens Light Output

I haven't really used it in the camp yet, but, so far, I love this lantern! Before I got it, I was concerned that it didn't collapse, but now that I have it, I can see that it is probably as, or nearly as, small as those lanterns that do. It is well made and waterPROOF to 1 M, not just "splash resistant". Like the ad says, it has 4 modes - high, med, low, and SOS. I had read somewhere that, for general camp area lighting, 200 lumens is sufficient, and that is what this lamp gives you on high. When you don't need that, there are 2 other modes, plus SOS.It is also well-designed, as evidenced by how the hanging mechanism is made. I'm not going to describe that in detail, because you should just order this lantern and see for yourself. I will be actually using the lantern in the next few days and will post any issues that I find.UPDATE: I found out that the lantern has a "smart switch". If you press the switch once, you get the high setting, if you then press it immediately again, you get medium, immediately again and you get low. But, whichever setting you leave it on for more than a second or two, say "high", then the next switch press is always "off". What this means is that, with the unit on high, for example, you do not have to cycle through "medium" and "low" to get to off. A very nice touch. Of course, you can always get to the SOS setting by holding the switch down for 3 seconds.

It works great. All the modes it says, and the brightest is quite bright. I accidentally left it on in my basement (lowest power setting) for about 16 hours, and it was still lighted. I turned it off, and then to its brightest setting and it was still very bright- a testament to the low power drain of LED. Good purchase, and at the time, it was cheaper than the other colored models. I also like the clip on the bottom so I can hang it from the rafters- or anyplace else.

This is a way underappreciated camping/emergency black out light. 1st off, it blows my other 350 lumens camping lights away. Not only that it's brighter, the light it produces is very pleasant and is easy on the eyes. Also, because the top of this camp light is as clear as the body, it does not cast a shadow at the top or when it’s hung upside down, there’s no shadow to obstruct the light from reaching every where below it either. What’s more, it’s waterproof and even floats on water. Very well thought out and executed product. The only thing that I could ask for from this product is a AA version of the light!

3 Brightness modes offer super bright, med, or low light. Nice to have the options and it runs off 4 AAA! Great for camping

Nice little lamp! I used it around the house and garage when the lights went out. It sits or hangs nicely by the hanging device which is convenient. The bright is great for its size and so are the medium and low. There is also a strobe light which can be useful. It is a nice size which can be put on a shelf or in a drawer when not in use. Great for emergencies! Great for gifts!

Good grief, this is one heck of a light. Very bright off four AAA batteries. Brightness settings allow for less light. This lantern is small enough, and light enough to justify backpacking with - even if you are watching every once. Super impressed with the product. Well built too.

I loved it at first. Small and a decent amount of light. Not even a month later it decides to stop working. Maybe I just got a lemon.

Small size, but very bright, one can comfortably read a book with the light next to it.

Tolle Campinglampe.sie ist zwar recht klein,spendet dafür aber sehr helles Licht,was sich aber auch dimmen lässt,wenn man den Knopf mehrmals drückt.genau was wir gesucht haben.wasserdicht soll sie auch noch sein,was wir aber noch nicht getestet haben.beim nächsten Camping/Kajak Urlaub werden wir das ausprobieren.uns gefällt sie.

Trotz ihrer geringen Größe bringt diese Lampe genügend Leuchtkraft für den nächtlichen Außengebrauch mit, auch für im Zelt ist sie dank der unterschiedlichen Leuchtstufen ideal geeignet.Ich habe diese Lampe gleich zwei mal gekauft – als Geschenk und auch für mich. Das Blaue der Laterne ist in meinen Augen eher türkis aber die Bilder geben die Farben sehr gut wieder, so habe ich dann auch genau das bekommen was ich erwartet habe.Ich bin rundum zufrieden!

Optisch schöne und Stabile LampeDie Lampe hat auf der Unterseite einen Karabiner zum einhängen was sehr praktisch ist.Es gibt 3 Stufen an Licht und ein S.O.S. Signal.Leider lässt selbst mit ganz neue Batterie die Leuchtkraft sehr schnell nach.Es ist bereits nach 2 Stunden deutlich sichtbar.

Ich Hab die Camping Laterne ausgepackt und war direkt begeistert. Sie ist ziemlich klein, leicht und handlich und daher ein idealer Reisebegleiter, wenn es mal etwas weniger Gepäck sein soll. Schusselig wie ich bin ist sie mir auch direkt mal runtergefallen (aus etwa 1,1m auf Fliesen), aber das hat sie gut überstanden und funktioniert nachwievor einwandfrei.

Habe vor 2 Monaten eine Taschenlampe von LiteXpress erworben und war aufgrund der Lichtleistung, der Verarbeitung und der Haltbarkeit der Batterien seeeehr zufrieden...Jetzt in den Sommerferien stand eine Woche Radtour an! Da ich abends im Zelt ein Buch lesen wollte, aber viel zu mühselig für die Augen ist, wenn die Lichtquelle nicht optimal zum Lesen platziert werden kann, sollte es diesmal eine (ausreichend helle)Lampe sein zum an die Decke hängen.Habe also die LiteXpress bestellt und im Urlaub ausprobiert: bestens!!Die Lampe hat drei verschieden starke Leuchtstufen: von sehr hell über gut zum Lesen bis gemütlich. In den beiden unteren Stufen ist die Leuchtdauer beachtlich. Bis zu 120 Stunden (gem. Herstellerangaben) reichen die Batterien.Diese sind für mich ein entscheidender Faktor gewesen bei der Auswahl der Lampe. 4 AAA-Batterien, überall erhältlich. Zur Not kann man sich auch einen Vorrat von zu Hause aus mitnehmen. Gewicht und Größe sind nicht entscheidend...Das trifft im übrigen für die Lampe selbst auch zu. Hatte sie mir irgendwie größer vorgestellt beim Bestellen. Mit knap 12 Zentimeter Höhe und einem Durchmesser von 7 cm passt die in jede Tasche am Gepäckträger! Und wenn die Bedingungen kritisch werden, ist sie gemäß LiteXpress sogar wasserdicht und schwimmt (hab ich aber nicht ausprobieren müssen).Die Lampe ist übrigens auch bestens geeignet, um sie (in schwächster Leuchtstufe) einfach nachts auf den Campingtisch zu stellen, wenn das Bier mit den Freundinnen noch nicht leer ist.Die Lampe kann ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!
