Makes The Impossible Possible
In the past my frugal method of chain lubing demanded the help of a friend: he would pull my Suzuki SV1000S over onto the kickstand via the handlebar and hold it there, balanced, allowing me to turn the rear wheel and advance the chain as I sprayed on the chain lubricant. It worked, but what about when I didn't have another capable person around? The Wheel Jockey (WJ) allows me to lubricate the motorcycle chain without any other helps or equipment, on my own. That's what I bought if for, that's what it claims to do, and it does it very well. The WJ is durable, compact and completely portable. It fits comfortably in my tailbag so I can take it on long multi-day rides and keep my chain well lubricated. I've had it for several years now and consider it a key piece of maintenance equipment.

Didn't work for me as expected
Thought this would help in lubing the chain on my NInja. Should have just sprung for the Chameleon chain oiler instead. As soon as you get the rear wheel on this and staet rotating your wheel, it starts sliding right off. I guess if you had someone holding the bike up straight it would work, but I wanted to be able to use this on the road without assistance.

Does not work
I have seen these in the past, and read varying reviews about their effectiveness (or lack of it), and decided to finally try one with my 2014 Triumph Street Triple. I am now firmly on the side of "it don't work" !!! I tried this thing every which way, on flat ground and sloped, from the front of the rear tire and from the rear, and it just plain does not work. The rear tire slides side-ways immediately and within half a rotation works it's way off the side of the Wheel Jockey, nearly dumping the bike. After MANY attempts, I went out and bought a rear stand, which I should have done in the first place. This thing is just a worthless waste of money.

Perfect for when a Rear Stand or a Centerstand isn't an option.
If you don't have the space for a rear-stand or you need something to help you lube your bike chain when you are on a multi-day road trip, this thing is pretty fantastic. While a rear-stand or a center-stand will be easier, this is a great alternative option. The biggest problem with this, and similar products is that the wheel will creep off the side of the Wheel Jockey, but if you pull the tire back towards the center of the wheel jockey as you rotate the tire, it works fine. Four stars because it's a little spendy, but it's also of a very high quality. I've had mine for close to ten years and it still works great.
