WoodWell Magnetic Black Chalk Board 24" x 36" (24 Inch x 36 Inch) Wood Framed Blackboard with Reinforced Metal Backing (Dark Tone 24" X 36")

Bought to replace our cork board in our kitchen used for the calendar and other papers and it looks good on the wall. Bought some magnets and they stick to the surface with no problem. Not going to use as a chalkboard, just magnets.Mounting to the wall was a small challenge though. The board comes with metal brackets screwed to the back of the corners. Each bracket has a hole where your drywall anchor screw is supposed to fit through. (2 drywall anchors were included.) The brackets were not all aligned the same however, and I couldn't figure out how to measure and place slightly crooked anchors that would make the board straight and center on the wall. So we ended up using the cork board metal brackets shaped like square J's that slipped behind the board frame. This allowed us to shift left or right and center to the wall. Perhaps a real handyman would have had no trouble.My other small complaint is that the frame bends slightly when picked up in the middle. Some glue in the frame would have prevented that. Fortunately our brackets were placed close enough to the corners that there's no bending. Still, we're happy with our purchase and would buy again.

Magnets don't work on stainless steel appliances so we bought this board to display our little girl's art & school projects. Solid construction, well made, well protected for shipping--arrived quickly & went up on the wall in minutes using Command Velcro strips. We seasoned the chalkboard as recommended even though we don't intend to use it as a chalk board (better safe than sorry). It works perfectly & our wee one loves having a place to display her work. Very satisfied & highly recommend this product.

I did get a separate tray to hang on the wall below it to hold an eraser and chalk.. Knew that going in since it's worth it to get this quality chalkboard. It was easy to hang and has been a refreshing replacement for the old greenboard one that had gotten so smooth it was hard to write on. And, it is magnetic, though I have a fridge if I wanna do that. So, 2 thumbs up.!

The chalkboard came covered in a protective film, although it appears the film was put on before it was framed and so the film is stuck under the frame and next to impossible to remove. I have spent days trying to remove this film. It's unfortunate because the chalkboard seems decent (minus that it's a little bent in one corner), but the protective film is just beyond ridiculous.

I'm glad I purchased this board. The board is exactly what I was looking for to put beside a cork board. Dimensions were close to being accurate. The only complaint I have is the hardware that is sent to hang the board is inadequate. A quick stop at Lowe's fixed that problem.

Great chalk board that I am using for my kitchen. It was shipped very nicely and did not come damaged. We primed the chalk board, as is recommended, and have been using it for a few months now without issues.

Love it. Install some bumpers on the lower backside corners and it's perfect. High quality craftsmanship.

Got this for the basement so my kids can have a blackboard to draw on. It works great. Don't forget to prime it before you use it thought (rub the chalk all over it to give it that chalk film, erase it, then use it normally).
