    The one must have for GMAT prep

The Official Guide is requisite for GMAT prep. I spent 2 months going through the Manhattan series and then 1 month going through the OG. Going through practice questions and practice exams tied the concepts together and was a confidence boost. (Not at first. I struggled a lot.) 3 months of studying with the Manhattan series and OG, maybe 15 hours a week, no class, scored a 710. Pretty content with the score for the effort spent.

The review about it being the 2012 edition must not have bought directly from Amazon.  Alternate sellers have the item for a bit less, but some of their descriptions are listed as having the 2012.  I received the 2013 Edition of the Guide along with the 2nd Edition of both the Quantitative and Verbal reviews.  This is absolutely perfect for me to prepare.  Thank you Amazon.

These books are good to provide Questions to practice - however I took advantage of the Kaplan GMAT Prep Book as it offered priceless tips and strategies that gave me the confidence and skills to write this exam!If you want a serious score (700+) you need to know the tricks of the trade, Kaplan offers them.  Good luck!
