A: The product cannot be cut short. You can look for the same type of product with 48 inches to see if it meets your needs.

**Q: Some reviews mention brake light doesn't engage when signal is on. Can someone confirm how this works?**
A: Haven’t tested this yet, I’m assuming if you add a second bar and a splitter to combine them then cut the turn signals for the second bar and the break for the first one you should have a fix. I’ll let you know if I test it.
