Tremendous value for the money. The case and dial have excellent finish. As others have commented, there is no lume whatsoever. I believe this watch is intended to be on the more formal side given the shape and finish of the hands and polished applied indices. The mecha-quartz movement feels just like a quality mechanical chronograph, and I've owned a lot of them. If you're looking for a proper pilot chronograph, this probably isn't the watch for you, given there's no lume. But, it is a beautiful watch with a quality movement. The bracelet is OK. I took it off straight away as there's not enough micro adjustments for me, and I just prefer straps. Excellent seller with very fast delivery.

I bought this Seiko as a gift for my godfather’s 70th birthday and he absolutely loved it. The classic design was exactly what appealed to him. It looks elegant and traditional without feeling old-fashioned, and the stainless steel bracelet and chronograph face give it a quality, timeless appearance. Seiko is a name I was confident buying as a special gift, and seeing how much he liked the watch made it an excellent choice. 5/5 – a beautiful classic watch and a great gift for a milestone birthday.

An incredible watch and amazing value for money. I bought this watch a couple weeks ago and was amazed. It looks so much better in real life. This is a quartz watch but the chronograph movement ticks just like an automatic allowing you to roughly measure up to a quarter of a second. The 12 hour chronograph is perfect for measuring long periods of time and unlike a lot of watches which slowly wind back around wasting power this watch snaps right back and it's ready to go again. I bought this watch a couple of weeks ago and its barely gone out of time at all. The size, width and weight are perfect and it's very comfortable to wear. It doubles as a dress and rugged watch perfect for hiking and going to a restaurant. Comes in a great box too which is very satisfying to open and close. The only downside is the lack of illumination, but the beautifully silver polished time markers make up for that. I've never felt compelled to write a review about any product I bought before but this watch deserves one, a great buy for someone who wants a practical and great looking watch

A very nice looking watch. Keeps very good time which I have measured against a radio signal clock. The stop watch function operates smoothly One niggle is that the minute hand and the second hand on the stopwatch are somewhat similar in design, size and colour such that they are easily confused. They could have been designed so they are more conspicuous from each other to differentiate them clearly and quickly, as one glances at the watch, usually for a fraction of a second. One solution is to run the stop watch continously but I don't think the watch is designed to do that and secondly it will run the battery flat quickly. The other niggle is that the wrist band is a bit tinny. Otherwise I would recommend the watch wholeheartedly particularly at the £148 price point which is very reasonable.

Purchased as a gift and it was well worth the money. The recipient absolutely loves it — excellent watch.

This beautiful watch was a Christmas present for Our little 15 year old boy. It was a fantastic surprise. He says that everytime He checks the time He enjoys seeing on his hand. He loves it. His verdict : Its Proper Smart Dad ! 😘😊

This is a lot of watch for the money, it's rated at +/- 15 seconds a month,but I've checked it against three satellite controlled clocks plus my and over a two week period it has not lost or gained at all, not even half a beat, plus if you set the minute hand precisely, it'll hit every batton in sink with the second hand at the 12 o'clock position. I couldn't be more pleased with this watch, and would recommend it to anyone. Quick update, the watch has gained almost, but not quite 1 second since my initial setting a month ago. I'm super impressed, plus it's a looker too.
