The adult hats I've been making use 80 pegs, which is most of one loom. I find when scrunched the loom feels like a toy loom. I love these sturdy looms. And large blankets should be no problem. **Q: Can you use this loom for double knitting?** A: I haven't tried it, but I think you could assemble some pieces to mimic a double knit loom. Authentic Knitting Board's rotating double knit loom also works well for double and single knit flat panels and in the round. **Q: Do you know the equivalent size knitting needle? I am trying to convert a pattern.** A: The box should come with a hook to help with knitting. As for threading needles. I don't like the plastic needles that come with some of these kits. I use a regular yarn needle to help thread my projects.
