These are the first clubs I have re-gripped, so a total newb as well. Major downside is they get so slick with any moisture or sweat. You can't swing them in bare hands without a death grip, and I've had them slip wearing a glove. Also, the inner rubber ripped when installing on .610" diameter shafts. I contacted superstroke support and they assured me they're .600 core and should stretch to slightly wider diameter shafts like any other grip. Half a bottle of solvent and grip tape wasted, that wasn't my experience. I don't know if there's quality assurance issues or what, because there's also some variation in the shade of gray. I was impressed how friendly support was, they immediately offered free replacements ( which boosted this review a star ). If the next version fixes these issues they'd be a perfect grip.
