1997 Silverado 5.7L Vortec
Old one was kind of weak. Felt the difference with this part compared to the 20 year old GM one. Worked well I’d say.

Coil
Seems to work great

Works fine!
Works just fine

Bolted up nicely- SUV runs once again!
Square base slightly wider than old coil. Had to "gap" the mounting bracket about 1mm to allow proper fit. Connections were dead on.

Coil..
Great brand... very good buy!

Fit perfect and was an exact match to the original coil
Fit perfect and was an exact match to the original coil. After removing the coil and bracket from the engine you have to drill out the rivets to install this coil with the included nuts and bolts on the mounting bracket. If you use a topside creeper it will make the whole job go that much easier. Not a hard job for a mechanic but could be a challenge for someone who has never worked on an engine.
