It does what it promises.It is leak proof. If the cap could be attached to the body of the bag, that would take away any chance of it getting lost while filling in or emptying the bag.

It leaks. I will tighten the cap as far as it will go but then notice later on that whatever is around it is wet.

I bought four of these, and two of them leaked and soaked my babies beds. The caps are not flat on the part that meets the rubber, leaked within the first 30 days, so at least I got a refund!
