Samsung DC90-10128N Thermistor , white

My Samsung washing machine (puchased in 2011) starting displaying the error code "te". We tried the "quick" fix of unplugging the machine for five minutes then replugging it in. That would clear the code and allow us to resume with our laundry, but the code appeared again about a month later. To not have to deal with the issue again, we ordered this replacement part. My husband installed it and he said it was very easy to do so. He did have to get behind the washing machine, which was a doozy since our laundry room is so small, but he said the actual installation of this part was super simple.This part came with no instructions, however, so we found a blister diagram of where this part goes online. We also found another website that had step-by-step instructions for replacing this part. My washing machine is working like normal now and has not displayed the error code since.Update... April 2019:Last week we had the same ‘te’ error code appear during a load of laundry. So just about one year and three months with no issues.

We had a temperature sensor error that showed up on our Samsung VRT steam washing machine. We thought it was an expensive fix but looked online and found that it just needed this part to be replaced. Moving the washer was harder than replacing this part. You have to remove the metal back panel with 2 screws and unscrew the 2 screws holding the old thermistor, once done you unclip the harness and install the new one. There's videos online on how it looks like. Who knows how long it'll last until we get another error but for $13 it's worth replacing rather than buying a new washer.

The part was easy to install. 6 months later it failed. I will order again because it’s cheaper than buying a new washer

Tried a number of things before coming to get this bad boy and it did the trick ! Easy fix for Samsung washers with the code tE, and glad I didn't have to cash out 600-1000 bucks on a new washer !

Worked perfect! Replaced the old one no problems. Note to self it doesn’t come with the screws so make sure you keep the old ones!!!

Exact replacement for my Samsung front loader that I purchased in 2010. This is the fourth time, in the ten years that I’ve owned this machine, that it has broken down. This was the first time that it was out of the warranty period. I researched the code on the display, ordered the thermistor for about $15, tax included. I installed it relatively easily. The hardest part is moving the washing machine, ( it weighs a ton).The machine is as good as new.
