Tridon EL13A1 Electronic Flasher

Fit and works like a champ on my 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. WAY cheaper than auto parts stores!!!

cool little flasher for alternating lights, smaller then the one I used in the 70's, It's going on an old 1990 KZ1000P for back lights. It has rubber mounting to to save it form vibration.

Ordered this Tridon EL13A-1 flasher and it only buzzed. Sent for a replacement and had the same results. Used ~ 5.5 amp load on each side. Item is rated for 160 watts per side. I can understand one bad unit, but not two in a row. Same as the previous reviewer of the EL13A-2, junk.

All three flashers work just fine just make sure that you put the hot line to the right post otherwise the unit will buzz

I have purchased four of these flashers. They ALL work just great. If you wire the flasher wrong, it will buzz and not work. The wiring diagram is printed on the face of the flasher. It's three wires and simple, but you have to know what you are doing, not for amateurs. Leave electronics to the pros... These are much better than the old mechanical alternating flashers that worked on thermal switching. NOT junk!
