If you see this rough surface, there is nothing wrong. It is actually showing you that it is made of good quality natural soy wax. Use: You should expect about 20 hours of burn time with this candle. Always remember to keep your wick trimmed to 1/4" and allow approximately 3 hours for your first "memory burn" to ensure clean, thorough burning through the life of the candle.
