I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews because people don’t know what they are doing. If you’re replacing the belt, you should also replace or repair the bigger issue, which is usually a seized drum brush.

I was trying to find the right size belt for my powerforce helix, model 68c7-u, when I came across these belts. I verified that it was the correct belt size from the bissell website, and ordered it here. I installed the belt, and for 10 seconds I had a working vacuum. Then the belt snapped, melted and shredded inside the vacuum, as you can see from the pictures. BUYER BEWARE! YOU CANNOT RETURN THEM SO DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID!!!!

I had a hard time figuring out what belt to buy for my Helix 1797. This belt works! I had an issue with the first pack of belts I purchased, and Bissell was quick to refund me. 5 stars for Bissell's customer service as well.

I bought a 2 pack. The 1st belt broke instantly. Then along came the burning smell of rubber. The aroma of burnt rubber, quickly accentuated the room. So luckily I purchased a 2pk. So I carefully put the 2nd belt on. So now I get squealing & hissing from the belt. Although my vacuum is picking up the trash quite well.

Wife wanted to buy a new vacuum. 5 minutes after taking a look at it, I identified the belt as the culprit. This product fit (as our vacuum is one of the ones it says it works for), and works like a champ. $$ saved. Take that throwaway culture!

When my sweeper belt broke, I dreaded replacing it, remembering the nightmare I encountered trying to stretch the belt to fit my last sweeper. This time it was no harder than changing a light bulb! And I was pleasantly surprised when the package contained two belts. I'd thought I'd thought the price was a bargain for one belt! Will surely buy again when the need arises.

Having received the Bissell from my Mother, it still took a licking and kept on vacuuming.. However, knowing that it was definitely an older model.. I was very dismayed to think that I now had a belt that broke and where could I find out if they even made parts for this model.. I did find it online which made me think 'now if it only works...' !! It came remarkably fast (what seemed like a blink of the eye). It was easy to replace and couldn't wait to use it!!! Well again to my dismay, the brush should have been replaced also ... Not knowledgeable in these things the brush seized up and broke the new belt . I ordered a new belt that day and 2 days later - " I'm Happy Susie homemaker " and DON'T have to pay an arm and a leg for a new one... Hopefully it will last another 20 years!!!
