Legit USB Assembly for AT&T Galaxy S4 - THANK YOU!
Just last week, my Galaxy S4 started to have problems charging. Despite using different chargers (and even swapping out the battery with another), my phone would exhibit the symptom of charging/uncharging/charging/uncharging repeatedly. Actually charging it would cause my battery to go down because every time you plug in a charger, the screen comes on temporarily. To charge my phone successfully, I had to power it off and let it charge via that method.Having replaced screens before on past phones (including the Galaxy S4), I found you could just buy the USB assembly as well. A cell phone repair shop said it would cost $80 to fix... then I found this part, for $7.35 from seller "Messi Franco". I opted for 1-day shipping and it was delivered to my door the next day. Brand new part for under $10.The tools that came with it are the same as any other generic cell phone tool. They'll help you get the job done if you have no existing tools, but they aren't necessary at all.I used the screwdriver, took off the screws. Used my fingernails to pop some of the molding off. Removed the old USB assembly, then added this one back. Put everything back together and my phone was as good as new again. No issues charging. As for the part, it's legit. Comparing it to the one that I removed from my phone, they are IDENTICAL. Even down to the text printed on the PCB.Great item to repair your phone yourself without having to get gouged by those cell phone repair shops.

Save money DIY
The mouth breather at AT&T said there was no fixing my Samsung Galaxy S4. He tried to get me to purchase a new phone. I figured I'd try replacing the charge port myself before going through with the service reps recommendation.I made the right decision. It took about 10 minutes to remove and replace the charge port. ALTHOUGH, I had to search YouTube for instructions since this pack didn't come with any. It didn't come with tools either unlike other compatible parts.Regardless, my phone works and I saved my self money.... And my photos.

Works on T-mobile phone
My phone died all of a sudden, and it wouldn't charge just the black screen and a vibration when I plugged it in all of a sudden. Decided to change the battery thinking the battery was faulty. Nope. Decided to change the charging cable thinking thinking it was the cause of my dilemma. Nope. Finally I come to realize it could be the charging port that's messed up I bought this item from seller "ekeamart". Item came with a particular set of tools. Tools that make a breeze out of jobs like this. They are plastic handled tools and get the job done. I only used 2 tools in this 5 tool kit. This replacement is marked i337 on the bottom but it worked flawlessly on my M919 (T-Mobile) phone.

Btw - only issue I found was there isn't a good plastic lifter/knife
Had an "I'm an idiot moment" when the phone slipped out of my fat fingers and hit the floor. Heard the telltale sign of some other metals pieces breaking off... said oh @#$@. Then found the piece (front facing camera clamp), re-attached. Put everything together and miraculously everything is working. Knock on wood hopefully this will be my permanent fix for the charging issues. Yay for MuchBuy - you rock.Btw - only issue I found was there isn't a good plastic lifter/knife. I had to use a plastic knife to do this to avoid scratching the surface of the phone.

Find your own tools
I installed the new USB port for my first time. Phone charges well now through any means (wall, computer, car chargers). I did buy this product for its tools which could not remove the screws from my phone. I tried and thought maybe if I pushed hard enough the tools would work but no. So $5 more for tools? I advise to skip this one and go for the other option. My voice cannot be heard by anyone on the other line, but this is my own fault not the part's. I would try to fix again but had to borrow tools and am too lazy to get them back.

Works perfect!!
Works perfect!!! If your phone does not work after getting water damage DO NOT TAKE TO PHONE COMPANY FIRST!! They don't even try to fix it. The strip on battery...you know the one that tells you if it has water damage....was pink, indicating water damage. I put it in another phone and it charged. Then I put back in my phone after it dried and IT WORKED!! Did some research and found out it was the charging port that was water damaged. Cost me less than $8. to fix and very easy. Better then $150. my phone Co. would have charged me to replace it.

Good product
This replacement part was perfect; it solved my phone charging problems. The screw driver was the only useful tool as the other tools were not flat enough to assist with getting in the tiny spaces to pull the phone apart. Replacing the part may easily be done at home by watching the directions on a youtube video. Overall very good product that i would recommend to a friend.

the new one works fine and I'm happy now
The first item I received from the seller (MuchBuy) was defective, but I contacted them and they offered to refund or replace. I had them send me a new one, which got lost in transit...my neighbor one street over brought it to me 2 days after it was supposed to be delivered. Oh well, the new one works fine and I'm happy now.
