Surgi-Sharp 2X48 Leather Honing Belt for Knives and Tools - Leather Power Strop

I've been using this belt for about four months on a Multi-tool 2X48 belt grinder attachment for my 1 hp Jet grinder. As the product description states, the belt is tight, particularly on the first use. Be patient and keep your fingers away from the pinch points between the belt and roller(s). It tends to track in the opposite direction of all my other belts; however, it is within the range of the belt grinder adjustment. I would have given it four stars, except that it "flaps" quite a bit. This may be a function of my particular belt grinder setup rather than the belt. I found the belt tracks better in one orientation than the other; once I figured that out, I marked the inside of the belt with an arrow in the direction of travel. I've sharpened several hundred knives in the relatively short time I've had the belt - and it has yielded exceptional results. As such, I highly recommend it.
