Bright red color, much better bargain than the pet stores.

Bright Color, Looks Great in Tank
It's a beautiful bright red color. I mixed this with coconut substrate to put in my Hermit Crab tank, and it mixed very well. It holds moisture. My crabs are still new and shy, so I'm not sure how they like it. For price point, it is comparable to Petco's Red Sand @ $9.99/5 lbs. I wouldn't spend anymore than that on it.

Don't believe everything you read in the description!
Put this sand in with my hermit crabs which it says it can be used for. Next day 4 dead. It might have something else but it is odd. Gave it 2 stars, could go to 3, this sand is great for art projects!
