I am really dissapointed
folks, I really thought that for 400 dollars, this item would be more... quality, i mean, it sounded ok, and after a week the rubber band was loosening so that it would slip when i played, this item is honestly trash, and the customer that reviewed it and gave it 5 stars is obviously being payed, i wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I went through... **sigh** i'm out 400 dollars, and they won't give me a refund,

Duallist - Live & Studio
As a daily player, this pedal performed well. Evenso, there are issues with it and it's slightly difficult to learn how to make different bass patterns. While playing double you must be careful as to not accidentally lock the 2nd arm. That has happened alot to me and it ruins your groove. The rugged plastic should be replaced by a stronger metal. The bass drum locking nut is in a bad spot so it's hard to tighten it down fully. Plus, it loosens after playing for awhile. Other than that, i've used for live shows and in studio. It always amazes people. If you are a metal player and just want that constant double bass then this is it!! If you are an all around player, i'd stick with the traditional double bass. It depends on the player but i like it.

Still haven't broken a thing
I was one of the first adopters of this pedal when it came out roughly 6-7 years ago. I met the inventor at NAMM, tested the pedal out and bought it on the spot since it was so much fun. Now, I was definitely concerned that the "plastic" feel would mean it would break after a couple trips on the road but it turns out its lasted longer than any other pedal I've ever owned! It's also super light, which is great for gigs. I agree with another reviewer that an improvement to the bass drum mount would be nice for ergonomics but I haven't had the loosening issues. The only thing I've replaced on this pedal is the beaters. Over all it was a pretty solid investment and well worth the learning curve.

Unique design
Imagine getting 16th notes from a single bass pedal while keeping your other foot free for hi-hat work. This unique pedal makes it possible. In normal playing position it's a regular pedal; however, with a nudge to the right engages a lever that transforms this pedal into a dual with alternating beats similar to single stroke rolls. You can achieve some interesting patterns even with the fixed, alternating beat, so do not think this pedal is only useful for single-foot 16th notes in a monotonic beat.A nudge to the left disengages the dual, alternating beat to normal playing. No hands and the transformation from single to double is instant.I prefer independent dual pedals - for now - but am impressed with what I can do with this pedal and the possibilities it opens.
