Cool lighter that works well. I tested it on different materials and it ignited as expected. Some material does melt onto the electrode if you are sealing the end of rope, but wiped off easily.

HelloI did not purchase this lighter on Amazon, but Amazon is such a great platform for product reviews. I wanted to let people know that this is a very good lighter, I've only been using it for about a month now, but it is working very well so far, recharges quickly and the charge last quite some time, I don't have any specific numbers, but in daily use I'm fairly happy with the purchase. I've tried several electronic lighters over the years, but the coil just did not work and other options were similarly disappointing. So it was with some trepidation that I made this purchase, but I have been pleasantly surprised, a month after my initial purchase and I'm still using it on a daily basis. It is a heavy and solid feeling lighter and most importantly it's powerful enough to do the job. I recommend this lighter. this lighter is one of, if not the coolest lighter you can buy. It comes in an extremely nice box and the lighter itself is wrapped in a thin foam like padding so it doesn't get scratched. The overall presentation of the lighter is very well done. The color I got (ice cream) is a very nice high gloss white. It did collect a lot of fingerprint but it doesn't show up because it's white. The Elementium logo is painted on there and stick up a little. Just another sign of the great quality of this. It is heavy but not so heavy it feels like a pain to drag it around with you. It feels very durable and I don't think this will be breaking on me anytime soon. The function of the lighter is also fantastic. Anything you put in its path of plasma is nearly instantly set on fire. This would be a great camping lighter seeing as it's wind proof. Since I've had the lighter I've used it extensively and the battery has yet to die out on me, so you can bet that on a full charge this will last you quite a while. I do not smoke however this would be able to light a cigarette very easily and evenly. Overall an amazing product and way more than I was expecting. This is also a nice talking/conversation piece as well. Every time I show someone they ask where they can get one for themselves. The price is quite high at $60, but this product is certainly worth the money.

I bought this lighter for my boyfriend on his birthday and he/we absolutely love it! It's legit water and wind proof! He straight up ran tap water over the plasma 'x' and it did not waver! Though I don't necessarily advise doing this... you know, just in case. 5-star rating for this sick lighter! I feel super cool busting it out too, it never fails to impress fellow smokers. The only negatives (and these aren't even really serious negatives) is that there is a slight hissing noise when you press the button and I wish there were a little more room in between the coils; cigarettes work wonderfully, lighting blunts... different story.All in all- bomb ass lighter!
