Hard working hydration pack
This is a very high quality hydration pack with the added benefit that you can pressurize the water reservoir, making drinking easier. I got mine for long distance motorcycle trips. The straps adjust easily, and it is comfortable to wear.

MT Vessel sez 'Wait for the next one' - if there is one
Geigerrig has made a name for themselves in the portable hydration industry due to their pressurized system (utilizing a squeezable pump bulb). This model uses the same 2-liter bag as many of their other packs, but that's about the best thing that can be said for it.As with almost all of Geigerrig's packs, their body model for this pack is apparently someone with a 16-inch torso as measured from the top of the hips to the top of the shoulders. Would you like to strap the belly band around your hips? You'll be out of luck, because the shoulder straps will barely reach at their fullest extension.Geigerrig only shows a couple of photos of this pack in use. One of the photos is with this pack strapped to a motorcycle gas tank, and the other is with it being carried by the strap running down the back.Unfortunately, Geigerrig put virtually no thought into the former use. The pack itself has to be removed from the bike in order to access the zipper where the hydration engine is stored, making filling and refilling an arduous process. Geigerrig should have sewn the strap mounts to the padded back layer - that would have allowed the base to remain attached to the bike while the rest could be opened for refilling the bladder. Further, no hooks are provided for securing the bag to a bike; you'll have to concoct something yourself, perhaps with bungee cords. (I ordered nylon-coated hooks and straps from www.strapworks.com, and I still had to do some sewing to get things to work.)The latter use as a hand-carried bladder isn't bad, but I don't know anyone who'd rather obligate the use of one hand to carrying their water than hanging it from some part of their body.As well, there is virtually no room in the pack for anything else, despite the presence of a zippered pocket.Geigerrig says the Shuttle has been discontinued, and there are no plans to make more in this variation. There is the possibility the Shuttle will be redesigned, and that would be welcomed. Until then, it is difficult to recommend this version to anyone.

Great system & price. Not so great pack.
I bought this for a music festival and it worked almost as well as expected. This version of the Geigerrig has some issues, but overall is way better than your average hydration pack!Pros:- All of the benefits of the Geigerrig system (This alone earns 3+ stars)- Straps can be removed to hang or attach pack to other things (hang as shower, strap to ATV)- Easy to clean- Bladder comes completely out to fill (both a pro and con)- Geigerrig system can be put into any pack- VERY well madeCons:- Filling the pack is tricky, requiring you to remove the bladder from the pack and disconnect all hoses. And then you have to reconnect them and squeeze it back into the pack- Heavy. This setup is sigificantly heavier and bulkier than your average hydration pack- No storage. There is a small pouch that can hold small items (money, credit cards). But DO NOT put your phone into it. The pocket get bent and put under extreme pressure once you pump up the pack. Additionally, anything put into it is nearly impossible to get out when it's full.- Difficult to get setup properly. More pressure does not always cause more water to come out.- Hard to get all of the water outSummaryThis is a great deal for a Geigerrig. The setup is way better than most packs on the market today. It impressed everyone who saw it and the benefits of it are worth the extra cost. I feel that it will last a long time and not become damaged. Additionally, I can now purchase other packs and move the system into it. The only cons of this package are the shuttle bag itself, but for the cost, it is a great way to get started and you can upgrade your bag later and have more flexibility!

Great for outdoor adventures!
I've owned a Camelbak and hated the suction type bite valve because when I'm thirsty I usually end up chugging water and a Camelbak is not conducive to that. After doing some research, the Geigerrig seemed to be the perfect solution since it's a pressurized water system. I tried it out when we went to an All You Can Pick fruit and vegetable farm. It worked perfectly when I wanted a drink, wash our hands or wash the fruit we picked. The downside is that you can't fit much else in the pack when the bladder is full of air and the placement of the pumping bulb on the shoulder strap is a little awkward and uncomfortable. Cleaning the bladder is super easy but getting the water out of the tubes has posed an issue and I'm afraid that I can't clean the tubes thoroughly enough.
