better yet, strong straps might be used instead of ...
Product was just returned as the upper cord on one gaiter snapped (on my wife's pair) as we were preparing our second walk (second usage of the gaiters) going upstream for several miles. We managed to tie it so it could be used, but tougher cord or, better yet, strong straps might be used instead of the rather thin cord that snapped.

did their job but one size fits all may have you "triippin"
I have normal size legs for a in shape 5"6 woman. These are built for a little larger person with thicker legs. They feel just fine when your just hiking around and protecting your pants with minimal bushwack but if you intend to do some solid bushwhacking with them and my size? id either add some Velcro to tighten them up or look for another product. I used these for some moderate to heavy bushwacking and found that the just twist themselves up on my legs and trip on the foot strap.The one size fits all may not be for everyone.

excellent, but not breathable
excellent, but not breathable. Heat and moisture can get trapped inside them, so you may end up getting somewhat wet from your own sweat if you are highly active while using them. Still use them and they work great.

Great.
Well these are helpful for sure. I don't use the strap underneath my shoes though. I have a long walk in the elements into work so I user these with my rain coat then just snatch them off. Great.

Seems like a good product
Seems like a good product, but didn't fit my husbands massive calves. We thought we measured but it still didn't come out like we thought it would. However, we will still use it for other family members.

Quality control problem.
Good idea that works. To bad the stitching that holds the velcro on unraveled the second time I wore them. Returned them.

Great value in comparison to so more expensive brands. Works as well. I did spray with water repellent for extra waterproofing. Very happy with product.

Somewhere in the manufacturing they have a flaw and cut right into the front of them....
